Shrimp, scallops and seasonal fish, flash fried topped with our special Jamaican Escovitch Sauce. (Available as an Entrée)



Avocado Shrimp Salad

Large Cooked shrimp seasoned and served in a light homemade dressing of avocado, lime, garlic and cilantro. (Also available as a main salad)



Shrimp Cocktail

Large chilled shrimp served with a traditional cocktail sauce.



Cod Fish Fritters Spanish Style

Spinach, red peppers and Chef Jackie’s special seasonings take these fritters to the next level of flavor. Our red pepper aioli is served as an accent to these fantastic bites from the sea.



Conch Fritters

These simply are the best in town, our Floribean flavored fritters are a culmination of local culture and taste- to accent these no sauce needed bites we serve a choice of sauce, Mango or Peach Salsa, Red Pepper Aioli, or Dill Tartar sauce.



Cool Mon’ Crab Cakes

Chef Jackie takes the crab cake a step further in flavor with Lump crab meat and a blend of seasonings and spices served with Saffron’s dipping mojo sauce with an essence of dill and lime.



Conch Fritters

These simply are the best in town, our Floribean flavored fritters are a culmination of local culture and taste- to accent these no sauce needed bites we serve a choice of sauce, Mango or Peach Salsa, Red Pepper Aioli, or Dill Tartar sauce.



Meatballs

Beef and Pork meatballs served in an Island curry sauce of coconut milk and seasonings with a smattering of pineapple. If curry isn’t your thing; we offer alternative sauces Homemade Tomato Basil, or a Sherry Cream Sauce.


Salads & Vegetarian

Large shrimp seasoned and served in a light homemade dressing of avocado, lime, garlic and cilantro.



White meat chicken mixed with crunchy apples and rum soaked raisins & tossed in a light curry sauce. OR substitute Tuna.



Chef Jackie infuses the flavor of her famous jerk chicken in a tasty pasta salad by adding extra flavor with vegetables and jerk spices.



Crunchy Cuke’s tossed in a dill & limeade dressing. This salad offers cooling flavors on hot Florida days & nights.



Large wedges of tomato, Bermuda onions, green peppers & black olives make up this simple salad that packed with flavor. Chef Jackie lightly tosses it in light basil vinaigrette that completes it and makes it down right delicious.



Cucumbers, zucchini, squash &red and green peppers are tossed and lightly coated in creamy vinaigrette with the essence of dill. Your choice can be served on a bed of mixed greens or tossed with beautiful tricolor pasta.



Mescalin field greens tossed with grated carrots & chopped tomatoes. Served with Saffron’s house dressing.



Inspired by Greek cuisine our leafy green spinach salad is tossed with feta, fruit and toasted nuts then finished with our fresh strawberry vinaigrette. These flavors will transport you to a place filled with warmth and love.



Large pieces of juicy, sun ripened watermelon that is flavored with fresh mint and offers a refreshingly bright burst of joy in every bite.



Black beans, roasted corn and red peppers tossed with lime & cilantro have made this a Catering by Saffron’s fan favorite.



A special mix and the addition of pineapple and buttermilk dressing make this truly different coleslaw.



Our version of this pasta tossed then infuses all of the flavors of the sun. Chef Jackie’s combination of seasonal roasted veggies, roasted garlic in a dressing of feta cheese, yogurt and Roasted red peppers. (This can be served hot as part of a pasta station with the addition grilled chicken or seafood)



Our tasty alternative to meat stew: This tasty concoction is made with sweet potatoes, carrots & tomatoes then finished with coconut milk and cilantro.

Entrees

Chicken tenders sautéed with pickled ginger, roasted garlic & red peppers and finished with the fresh flavor of sweet pineapples.



White meat chicken cut to bite sized portions oven roasted and finished with light Coconut milk based lime and cilantro sauce.



Grilled chicken breasts that are finished in a light fruit and Appleton Rum sauce gives this chicken a truly extraordinary flavor.



Chef Jackie sautés your selection(s) in a mild, homemade curry sauce that is sweetened with coconut milk then tossed with roasted red peppers, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes and fresh thyme to bring a piece of de islands to you - her way.



This is the dish Catering by Saffrons is best known for throughout the Tampa Bay area. Your choice of Chicken or Pork is marinated in Saffrons own very special spices- Your meat will be grilled to perfection and finished with Saffron’s Gourmet Jerk Sauce and onion vinaigrette. A truly spectacular flavor experience.



Pork tenderloin marinated in garlic, sour oranges and cilantro then slowly roasted until tender and juicy. A sure crowd pleaser.



Flavors of the islands are abounding in this old favorite; Tamarinds, ginger, brown sugar and rum take you on your own special trip to the Caribbean.



Tenderloin rolled and stuffed with sweet plantains and nuts. The stuffed tenderloin is then slowly braised & roasted to melt in your mouth. Chef Jackie finishes this delicious dish with an orange and pickled ginger glaze. Mmmmm.



Marinated in a spicy mango reduction then slow roasted for hours until tender and soft. It is finished with a sweet and spicy glaze, flavored with mango and bourbon.



A traditional cut of pork that is glazed with pineapples, mustard, brown sugar and cloves.



Boneless leg of lamb stuffed with rosemary, thyme, garlic and lemon which is slowly roasted and finished in a lightly flavored orange marmalade sauce.



Boneless chunks of Lamb sautéed in a curry sauce with a medley of Vegetables and spices.



Top round beef marinated then slowly roasted to create a soft as butter finish. Served with your choice of sauce: Tropical Fruit & Thyme or Traditional Mushroom Wine Sauce



Braised in a reduction of red wine, apples, fresh herbs and savory spices.



Marinated and grilled. Try it with Jerk or Traditional Mushroom Wine sauce.



Prime Rib cut of beef served with the delicate juices it’s cooked in. Take it up a notch; Try this old favorite lightly grilled and topped with Saffron’s special Jerk and pickled onions.



In season fish sautéed with a tasty sauce of tomatoes, red & green peppers, roasted garlic, onions and dill- a long standing local favorite.



Fish of the day; grilled and topped with our mango salsa or a choice of one of Chef Jackie’s sauces.

A southern favorite; a tasty mixture of chicken, fish and other flavors of New Orleans are stewed to perfection in our Louisiana gumbo sauce.



The title of this dish literally translates to “close to where we live.” This version brings full flavor with shrimp, hot sausages, boneless chicken & rice slowly cooked together with a medley of vegetables and Cajun spices.
